The new advertising for the Chicago Tribune seems to be everywhere. Prior to that, and in addition, the recent redesign it underwent was meant to spur readers. This make-over was less than a year after the last one.
But what of these signs posted all over the city? Because, those are part of the redesign as well. It says so right there:

For those who can't tell in the picture what it says on top of the words "Chicago Tribune" is "It's a Whole New Day."
Yet, children, did we learn nothing from the Tortoise and the Hare? For those who don’t recall, the hare looses. Negative connotaion for those ’speedy’ readers taken too seriously? Possibly, but it seems odd and worth mulling over.
